WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Capture high-quality action images of athletes, coaches, and fans during live sporting events, focusing on peak moments, emotion, and storytelling.

• Anticipate gameplay and position yourself strategically to consistently deliver sharp, well-timed shots in fast-paced environments.

• Photograph a combination of action, team, and individual player images as needed throughout the event.

• Maintain consistent image quality, composition, and exposure across a high volume of photos.

• Work efficiently under pressure to capture a large volume of usable images within tight timeframes.

• Interact professionally with athletes, coaches, and families to create a positive and organized experience.

• Follow company shooting guidelines, style standards, and production expectations.

• Travel to event locations and maintain punctuality for scheduled shoot times.

• Represent Texas PhotoWorks professionally on-site and contribute to a high-energy, team-driven environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in sports or action photography with a proven ability to capture sharp, well-timed images of fast-paced sports action.

• Strong working knowledge of camera settings, including shutter speed, ISO, and continuous autofocus

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must be available to work weekends, flexible evening hours during sports seasons, and other special events as needed.

• Reliable transportation capable of weekend travel across DFW area.

• Physically able to move quickly and remain active throughout long event days

• Sample portfolio will be required.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT

• DSLR or mirrorless camera capable of high-speed continuous shooting.

• Telephoto lens suitable for field sports (minimum of 70-200mm or longer).

• Sufficient backup batteries for full event coverage.
